With the importance of Instagram in the realm of social media, adapting to its peculiar features becomes essential to fully unfold the potential deriving from its use. One of these is the need to create clickable links, functionality that is not offered within the post captions, but just possible through the link that can be inserted in the bio user.
However, given the immediacy of Instagram compared to other social platforms, the best link to publish on your profile doesn't necessarily coincide with the homepage of your website. In fact, more often the author of the post wants to send as quickly and simply as possible its readers directly on the content of interest, avoiding having to browse through all the contents of the homepage. To overcome this inconvenience, a real ecosystem of services on the market has emerged, allowing to build a page made up of a list of customizable links. For example, the author of the post wants to highlight a series of links to promote the latest article posted on his blog, to sell a product from their shop, and to invite the reader to download a free product. If the disadvantage of these services is that they are not free, the good news is that their cost is entirely avoidable if you have a self-hosted WordPress site.

If you have checked out and installed the three recommended tools on your WordPress site, then you are ready to build your own free Instagram Link In Bio!
To start with, add a new page to your site from the WordPress admin panel that you will title as ‘Links’ (you can also name it in an alternative way.)
At this point, go to the ‘Page Appearance’ tab and disable both ‘Header Design’ and ‘Footer Design’ by selecting the ‘X’ in the respective sections.
The next step prepares the exclusion of the page from search engine results, being this page only functional to your Link In Bio on Instagram. To do so, select ‘No’ both on ‘Allow search engines to show this page in search results?’ and ‘Should search engines follow links on this page?’.
If you have a content sharing plugin installed on your site, such as ‘AddToAny’, turn it off in the appropriate section of the page.
Now you are ready to save the page settings by clicking ‘Publish’, but the job is not finished yet.
The last step is to create the customizable links from the ‘Themify Builder’ section, which you can create by adding a ‘Text’ or ‘Button’ module (as you prefer) for each link you want to put on your Link In Bio. In addition to links into texts and buttons, you can alternatively add other modules (like ‘Image’ or ‘Slider’) that can include clickable links, depending on the end result you want to take effect on the visitor every time he clicks through your Link In Bio on Instagram!
When you have finished adding all the modules you like, click on ‘Save’ and it’s done!
Now you can encase your self-hosted Link In Bio from your WordPress site onto your Instagram profile:
